Advantages:
Disadvantages:
- Time waiting for people to reply has been reduced, as emails and texts are faster at delivering, rather than letters.
- Can keep in contact with families/friends (that are of far distance), regularly. With social networking sites such as Twitter, you can get replies instantly.
- Also, you are certain that what you have sent (if email), has been delivered rather than being unsure through letters.
Disadvantages:
- It can sometimes be less personal, as friends may be contacting you quite often, and this may not be so good.
- May cost more than actually seeing the person, as with sending letters, you will have to pay for postage stamps, etc. with emails, it gets delivered faster than letters and you don’t have to pay for anything. You do, however, need internet.
- Sometimes, emails can get ‘lost’. This is due to either making a typo in the recipient’s name.
