Advantages:
- You can stay home but still communicate to your peers and discuss work, or have interviews. This is great, as you can spend more time on your work whilst at home. Many people say they feel more comfortable working or having interviews at home than actually at work.
- Employees can also communicate to work colleagues over video conferences, and chat anywhere in the world, directly. This is great, as you can be better organised at home rather than the interview place.
Drawbacks:
- Spoken communication tends to be less detailed than written communication.
- If you want to exchange important information, that needs to be documented, you can’t do that over a video conference, as it has to be documented using written communication.
